JUSTIFICATION FOR THIS STUDY

Despite the dedicated and heroic efforts of the over 16,000 Jewish WWII war veterans to Canada's war effort, there have been no systematic efforts to document on camera the experiences of the Jewish Canadians who served our country so honorably. The archiving on camera of these experiences will preserve a piece of Canadian history that would otherwise be irretrievable forever. Given the age of most of the WWII veterans and their rapidly failing health, this study needs to be implemented with great dispatch.
