Ground Breaking of the Jewish War Veterans International Memorial
The Sunday October 30, 2005 Ground Breaking of the Jewish War Veterans International Memorial was a great success. The Ground
Breaking included a Remembrance Day service held at Beth Radom Synagogue upon the conclusion of the ceremonies. All branches of the Canadian
Armed Forces were represented, and included many of the well known Regiments and Units from the Greater Toronto Area, who paraded as part of
the events planned. The Ground Breaking was held in conjunction with the City of Toronto under the auspices of the Mayor and the Members of City Council.
